Tip #5
It’s Fall again, folks. It’s time to break out your sweaters, your wool socks, and yes, your turtle necks (we won’t tell!). While you’re at it, make sure that your home is ready for winter. There are plenty of good Fall home-maintenance to-do lists out there:
“ TIP #5:
5. Clean the gutters. A service charges $70 to $200 for a single-story house, depending on its size. If your gutters are full of detritus, water can back up against the house and damage roofing, siding and wood trim, plus cause leaks and ice dams. Also look for missing or damaged components that need repair.”
Cleaning your gutters is a great tip for winter home-preparation. You can pay to have your gutters cleaned this Fall and then pay to have them cleaned again a year from now. ‘Tis the season for family traditions! OR you can install gutter helmet and have your gutters cleaned and protected. You’re house gutters will be leaf and ice free this winter and you won’t have to worry about it ever again.”
